The City Champs are a Memphis soul/jazz trio founded in the style of Stax. Top local musicians Joe Restivo (guitarist), Al Gamble (organist), and George Sluppick (drummer) collaborate with The Bo-Keys and Jack Ashford (featured in the documentary, Standing in the Shadows of Motown).
