This Delta-marinated, bluesy rockabilly band is a raw, unholy explosion of Memphis music. Recorded at Ardent Studios, it took the band only six hours to record — and it is delightfully apparent in their rushed, swampy style. Tav Falco’s Panther Burns is an essential of post-punk era music.
