This Friday, November 24, marks Black Friday and once again we’ll be participating in the international Record Store Day sale. This year we salute 10 years of RSD along with indie artists and labels by celebrating with tons of new limited edition releases as well as reissues of previously hard to find rarities. In particular, a number of Memphis compilations and special release titles are being put out this year from favorites like Chris Bell, Isaac Hayes, Otis Redding, Tav Falco and more! We’ll open early (9 am) but generally the first customers arrive around 5 am, so you may want to make plans to get here early. We’ll stay open until 5 pm for those who can’t make it up here early in the day, but know that the longer you wait, the less that is available! We are not allowed to hold titles for customers, and each customer is allotted one copy of each item they would like the first time through the line. Everyone may feel free to get back in line and make another pass though if they want.
Also, we’ve got brand new Shangri-La tote bags in this week! They’ll normally be $12 but for RSD we’re going to be selling them at a discounted price ($10) this Friday only. Check ’em out.
