Classic soul/r&b re-issue from Memphis’ answer to the Funk Brothers, Hi Rhythm. The Hodges brothers (Mabon “Teenie”, Leroy and Charles) were the basis for the grooves that emanated from Royal Studios in the 70s, backing Al Green, Ann Peebles, Otis Clay and Syl Johnson, among others. This is the sole studio album that they were featured without a major vocalist fronting the band and it allows them to slink deep down in the pocket on tunes like “I Remember You, Do You?” and “Save All My Lovin’.”
