We’re in for a fun weekend…first, Robby Grant‘s excellent new Vending Machine record Let the Little Things Go will get the live treatment on Friday, March 27th up at the store. The free show will start by 6 and wrap up by 7, so make sure to swing by after work and get your weekend started right. CDs will be available as well, so if you haven’t heard it yet, be sure not to miss tonight!
Tomorrow, March 28th, we’ll be hosting our biggest PURGEFEST ever. There will be $1 LPs being put out throughout the day, including titles from the Beatles, Beach Boys, Rolling Stones, lots of old Memphis R&B and TONS of jazz records that we just don’t have room to stock in the store. There will also be ultra cheap 45s, CDs, cassettes, VHS, DVDs, books, posters and discounts on all merchandise in the store as well. We’ll start around 10 am and will have garage sale items including electronics, furniture and vintage clothing. Stick around for sets from Dave Cousar and Chris Milam starting at 2 pm when we’ll also put out another huge batch of sale items.
