We’re stuck inside of our houses, with the Shangri-La winter weather blues again. Luckily, that doesn’t affect our podcast, with a new episode dropping today. John and JD get into talking about goings on at the store in light of the crazy snow dump and a couple favorite new records at the shop from unique points in Memphis music history – celebrating the dominant contributions of Black artists to our city’s musical heritage.
Then, we’re graced with a beautiful performance from one of our favorite folk songstresses, Bailey Bigger, live at the Five and Dime Studio in midtown. If you haven’t already, check out her Big Legal Mess released 7″, “Let’s Call It Love”, which is available for purchase at the shop.
You can also listen to the podcast via Spotify, Apple Music, Stitcher, and Amazon. Thanks for tuning in!
