Hard to believe, but it’s already April and Record Store Day is a few weeks off. We just finished blowing it out for Fool Fest 2 (check Instagram for pics), but we’re already gearing up for another big day. In addition to the LUDICROUS amount of limited edition Record Store Day exclusive LPs and 45s that we’ll have for sale, we’re even more excited to host one of our new favorites – LIZ BRASHER. If you aren’t already familiar, grab her “Cold Baby” single from us or visit NPR to see her SXSW performance from earlier this spring.
Liz will be kicking off her summer tour at the shop with us and we can’t wait! Her new EP, Outcast, is out April 27 and she’ll be on the road from coast to coast until July. Come by the afternoon of the 21st at 3 pm and help us send her off in a big way.
As for the Record Store Day sale portion, we’ll open up at 9 am this year for customers. Usually the line starts forming as early as 5-6 am, so you’ll want to arrive early if there’s something you think you can’t afford to miss out on getting. We’ve ordered from more distributors than ever before this year, so there is a good chance we’ll have what you’re looking for. All items are first come first served (meaning we can’t hold anything for you) and we limit customers to 1 of each item the first time through the line (but you can get back in line and get another). We’ll be open until 5 pm that afternoon, so come early and be sure to stay for Liz at 3. See you then!
