This year marks the 10 year anniversary of Record Store Day and we’re having a big party to celebrate! Tons of limited edition LPs and 7″s will be available from artists, labels and distributors far and wide. There are always some gems in the bunch, but this year has a lot of great stuff that we went after for you from a number of new labels and distributors.
This year we will open a little early (9 am), though usually the ambitious record hunters arrive between 5 and 6 am, so plan accordingly. Our policy is that you can get one of each title when you go through the line and if you want an additional copy, then you must return to the end of the line and go through again. We can’t tell you what we have in advance, but rest assured, there will be a TON to choose from.
In addition to the annual shopping mayhem, we will have a FREE show featuring TALL DAVID (James and the Ultrasounds, Time) at 2 pm at the famed Shangri-La Stadium (our parking lot). David has a new CD that was recently released, and while it’s not an RSD exclusive, we think it’s certainly worthy of special attention. So come on down early and hang out with us through the early afternoon before heading down the street for the Lucero Family Block Party 2017 w/ Son Volt and the Grizzlies game 4!
